Program Information
Apply once and have the opportunity to win up to three scholarships. When you apply for a scholarship with Saratoga Federal you will also have a chance to earn a scholarship through the New York Credit Union Association at the state and regional levels.
Scholarships awarded may range from $500 to $1,500 and may be used at a two or four-year accredited educational institution.

What you will need:

Scholarship Applciation: Download, complete and save the application. The application will be uploaded in the Scholarship Portal. Don't forget to document our Verfication Code at the top right of the application. You can obtain this code by calling the credit union at 518.583.2323. The application must be completed and signed by both the applicant and a parent/guardian.

If you are unable to submit your application online, please bring your completed application and supporting documents to Saratoga's Credit Union and we will submit them on your behalf.

Eligibility
Applicants MUST be:

Member of Saratoga's Credit Union (not a member, open an account with as little as $5.00)

College-bound high school senior at the time of application

Attending either a two or four-year accredited educational institution for the first time in the Fall of 2024

Applications will be scored by an independent, external organization. Judging will be based on academic achievements, extracurricular and community activities, and the essay.
